COSMETIC was founded in the summer of 2006 after acquiring Fine Fleur, a company with 30 years of activity in the cosmetics field. Within the first year we have invested more than 400,000 euros in the improvement of production and packaging facilities and laboratory equipment, creating a dynamic new company.
The story began when the owner of COSMETIC, Dr. Georgios Tsatsos (PhD in Biochemistry) left the UK to return back to Greece after several years of experience in academic establishments and internationally renowned chemical companies. An initial study of the Greek market has indicated that the internal cosmetics market is growing rapidly, with the Greek consumers being willing to test new products. Furthermore the lack of scientists with deep understanding of the cosmetics field, in Greek companies often resulted in poor-quality products and services.
